The Other Side of the Mountain wins the 2013 Best Film Award at the International Film Festival for Peace, Inspiration and Equality.

"For me….my wife and I had worked for 6 years with all our energy at our sunset-age and with the burning love for the people in North Korea... to tell THEIR STORY.

'The Other Side of the Mountain' wins the Special Jury Prize and the Award of Excellence in the International Feature Films category at the International Film Festival for Peace, Inspiration and Equality (IFFPIE) 2013. It is also a finalist for the Best International Film award! The awards ceremony will take place on September 4th 2013 in Planet Hollywood XXI cinema in Jakarta.
'The Other Side of the Mountain' was awarded the special honorary Courage Award at the Disorient Film Festival in April 2013.
